Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience working across large, complex datasets.
- Experience with accounting and reporting platforms such as Sage Intacct and FloQast.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new systems and tools quickly.
- High-growth payment/fintech experience is a plus.
- 1-2 years of financial audit and/or consulting experience preferred.
- SQL and Python experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other core accounting tasks for financial close and reporting.
- Research, establish, and maintain financial accounting principles and procedures to ensure US GAAP compliance.
- Support internal controls and audit readiness, including compliance administration, audit requests, and testing.
- Design and document accounting processes, identifying opportunities for automation and scaling.
- Own accounting projects and resolve process gaps, such as unresolved reconciling items.
- Partner cross-functionally to design, build, and implement new systems, processes, and solutions.
