Requirements
- 8+ years of frontline fundraising experience, including significant work with HNW and UHNW individuals.
- Demonstrated record of building a major-donor portfolio from the ground up without relying on inherited accounts.
- Proven success independently originating, cultivating, and closing six- and seven-figure transformational gifts.
- Experience managing a pipeline for multi-million-dollar annual revenue goals.
- Strong proficiency in CRM software, specifically Salesforce or similar systems.
- Experience partnering with CEOs, executives, and board members.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and proposal-development skills.
- Ability to operate independently in an ambiguous, high-accountability environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% to engage donors and prospects.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop HNW and UHNW prospects through research, wealth screening, referrals, and networking.
- Lead the full fundraising cycle from qualification through solicitation, negotiation, and closing transformational commitments.
- Manage a pipeline to achieve $3M+ in annual fundraising revenue.
- Create tailored cultivation strategies connecting donor interests to the organization's mission and programs.
- Partner with the CEO, executives, and board members to strategically engage leadership in donor outreach.
- Design and execute donor experiences and events to surface and convert new prospects.
- Develop compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations.
- Build scalable, repeatable prospecting and major-giving practices.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and manage stewardship handoffs.
