Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience working in eCommerce.
- Senior-level development experience with Liquid, Javascript, React, Tailwind CSS, GraphQL, REST, and Git.
- Strong understanding of Shopify development, including themes, APIs, apps, functions, and extensions.
- Thorough knowledge of web performance, web accessibility, data querying, API request handling, and design systems.
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence or similar ticket management systems.
- Proven ability to manage commitments across multiple projects.
- Expertise in software documentation and technical writing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Own frontend feature development while ensuring quality and timely completion.
- Lead the engineering project team through implementation, code review, and release management.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements, use cases, and product roadmaps.
- Plan and delegate tasks to engineering team members.
- Anticipate risks and provide actionable technical solutions.
- Distill complex requests into manageable tasks for the development team.
- Validate project estimates and technical approaches for assigned work.
- Mentor and lead engineers within the project team.
