Requirements
- Advanced degree in social or behavioral science, public policy, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience applying research, planning, evaluation, and community engagement skills, ideally within a consulting environment.
- Proven ability to lead projects with multi-issue stakeholders and teams of varying complexity.
- Experience in staff supervision, mentoring, and fostering a culture of team accountability.
- Demonstrated business development skills, including proposal writing and client interviewing.
- Strong skills in active listening, critical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional resilience.
- Commitment to embedding equity and inclusion into organizational culture.
- Comfort and experience working in a remote-first, entrepreneurial environment.
- Fluency in additional languages, particularly Spanish, is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of evaluations and complex client engagements.
- Manage project timelines, work plans, and team assignments to ensure high-quality execution.
- Cultivate collaborative team environments, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients and stakeholders on organizational dynamics and complex problems.
- Manage client relationships, anticipate needs, and proactively address tensions or challenges.
- Oversee and troubleshoot complex data collection and analysis methods, including developmental and systems evaluations.
- Identify and vet new business opportunities, develop proposals, and participate in client interviews.
