Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in automation, integration, or IT systems engineering with hands-on delivery of business-critical automations.
- Deep hands-on experience with an iPaaS platform such as Workato (preferred), Boomi, MuleSoft, Tray, or n8n.
- Strong proficiency in a scripting language such as Python.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as identity and access management, human resources, ticketing, and finance.
- Practical experience building AI-powered and agentic workflows in a governed environment.
- Proven track record of designing reusable patterns adopted by other engineers.
- Ability to influence without authority and cultivate vendor/partner relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Workato or equivalent iPaaS certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver complex, business-critical automations and integrations, including AI-powered and agentic workflows.
- Develop reusable patterns, shared components, and agent building blocks to drive adoption across IT.
- Define technical approaches for complex, ambiguous problems and document them for team repeatability.
- Own monitoring, alerting, and incident response for production automations and agents.
- Mentor IT Systems Engineers through design review, pairing, and training to build orchestration and AI fluency.
- Cultivate vendor relationships and partner with security and compliance teams to shape new standards.
- Serve as the final escalation point for the IT Innovations team to address root causes.
