Requirements
- Proficiency in async Python, Pydantic, type hints, and FastAPI.
- Experience with the Strands agent SDK or a comparable agentic framework.
- Experience with testing frameworks including pytest, pytest-asyncio, and DeepEval.
- Skilled in writing and iterating on XML-structured production system prompts.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience building or consuming MCP servers.
- Familiarity with multi-agent orchestration patterns like supervisor/subagent delegation.
- Ability to design and run agent evaluation suites for correctness and regression.
- Comfortable authoring Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, and docker-compose configurations.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL including templated queries and ER diagrams.
- Experience with Git, semantic versioning, and PR-based trunk development.
- Willingness to use AI-assisted tools like Claude Code and Cursor.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across the Champion platform repositories.
- Improve developer experience including tooling, scaffolding, documentation, and onboarding paths.
- Maintain and evolve the MCP tool server and agent infrastructure.
- Identify and address friction points in agent development and deployment.
- Review agent implementations for prompt quality, scope enforcement, and auth configuration.
- Pair with engineers on K8S manifest creation, database registration, and feature rollout.
- Design and build Champion agents, including writing system prompts and tool bindings.
