Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience providing eDiscovery and litigation support services on complex, large-scale cases.
- Thorough understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), specifically data collection, review, analytics, and production.
- Solid, broad knowledge of IT infrastructures, including networks and various data sources.
- Proven experience managing eDiscovery projects, planning efforts, and effectively managing client expectations.
- Proficiency in a wide range of eDiscovery technologies and industry best practices for large-scale responses.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage complex relationships under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance.
- Must reside in or near the Washington, DC area for short-notice on-site meetings.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree preferred; eDiscovery-related certifications highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the discovery lifecycle, providing expert consultation on technology and best practices.
- Consult with case teams to develop and implement project plans, covering data collection, processing, document review, production, and trial.
- Advise the legal team on technology options for early case assessment, document search, and efficient review processes.
- Participate in legal proceedings, including 26(f) conferences, and prepare affidavits or provide testimony regarding the defensibility of the eDiscovery process.
- Develop cost estimates and maximize efficiencies while overseeing the creation of statistical reports on project metrics.
- Delegate workflow tasks such as data management, search query construction, and quality control.
- Stay informed on emerging eDiscovery technologies and provide briefings on process improvements to stakeholders.
