Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing client relationships within government contracting.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local procurement processes.
- Proven ability to architect written responses, use cases, and technical narratives.
- Experience directing writers, analysts, and production teams to meet quality standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong judgment in pursuit strategy and resource allocation.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort working in a fully remote environment with distributed or offshore teams.
- Ability to align availability with client meeting schedules.
- Experience in emerging-technology business development (preferred).
- Existing relationships within defense or federal civilian agencies (preferred).
- Familiarity with distributed or offshore production support models (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary client contact, leading recurring calls and monitoring relationship health.
- Architect response strategies, use cases, and technical narratives for qualified opportunities.
- Manage the daily work of production analysts, writers, and contractors by setting scopes and deadlines.
- Maintain delivery standards through templates, process documentation, and RACI structures.
- Monitor contractor utilization against budgets and identify variances.
- Partner with business development leads to drive pipeline progression in federal, state, and local markets.
- Collaborate on final review and governance for all client deliverables.
