Requirements
- Experience in end-to-end payroll processing in-house or with a payroll service provider.
- Strong knowledge of payroll best practices.
- Proficiency in software tools including Excel and Google Suite.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment.
- Experience or willingness to work largely asynchronously.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated commitment to improving processes and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert for the country.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders in Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
- Process full end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filings, exceptions, payments, and compliance.
- Ensure full data integrity and quality.
- Manage payroll journals and reconciliations.
- Focus on achieving payroll KPIs and SLAs.
- Implement and improve payroll processes.
- Mentor and support payroll specialists.
- Act as a backup for regional managers during absences.
