Requirements
- 4–8+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for complex, multi-entity financial modeling.
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL and Azure for database management.
- Experience with BI and automation tools like Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, or Python.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and real estate accounting concepts.
- Familiarity with joint ventures, distribution waterfalls, and investor allocations.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Master's degree or MBA from a top-tier institution preferred.
- CFA charter preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain annual operating budgets, long-term forecasts, and project development budgets.
- Manage rolling re-forecast processes and reconcile budgets monthly and quarterly.
- Prepare consolidated and entity-level cash flow forecasts and capital call schedules.
- Develop project-level pro formas, fund-level models, and distribution waterfalls.
- Underwrite new acquisition and development opportunities for investment committee analysis.
- Execute sensitivity, scenario, and stress-test analyses on construction and market variables.
- Model debt structures including construction loan sizing and covenant metrics.
- Automate recurring reporting using Microsoft Azure, Power Query, Power BI, or Python.
- Collaborate with accounting, development, and asset management teams on data quality and reporting.
