Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering, DevOps, site reliability engineering, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or closely related experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, or operating cloud infrastructure and automated software-delivery systems.
- 3+ years of technical leadership experience, including responsibility for architecture, technical direction, mentoring, or leading complex engineering initiatives.
- 2+ years of direct people-management experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure.
- 3+ years of experience building or managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation in production environments.
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform or a comparable technology.
- Experience with containerized and/or distributed application environments.
- Experience with production monitoring, observability, incident response, and system reliability.
- Experience integrating security practices into cloud infrastructure and software-delivery processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and evolution of cloud infrastructure and DevOps capabilities supporting Cleerly's healthcare technology platform.
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure for company applications and services.
- Lead the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and software delivery processes.
- Manage and mentor DevOps, platform, and/or software engineering individual contributors.
- Establish technical direction, engineering standards, and operational best practices for cloud infrastructure and software delivery.
- Partner with software engineering teams to integrate infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and security solutions into application development workflows.
- Improve system reliability, availability, scalability, observability, and performance.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident-response capabilities.
- Ensure engineering practices comply with applicable quality-management and regulated-software requirements.
- Represent the DevOps/platform engineering function to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
