Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Significant experience leading engineering teams and organizations.
- Proven experience managing and developing engineering managers and senior engineers.
- Strong Computer Science and software engineering fundamentals.
- Track record of building and scaling reliable, customer-facing software products.
- Experience designing and evolving distributed systems as products scale.
- Strong technical judgment for pragmatic architecture and technology decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong product sense to connect technical decisions to business outcomes.
- Hands-on leadership style with a focus on ownership and execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering organization.
- Partner with the CTO and company leaders to define and execute technical strategy and roadmap.
- Own engineering execution across multiple teams to ensure quality, speed, and predictability.
- Translate customer and business needs into effective technical solutions in collaboration with Product and Design.
- Provide technical leadership on architecture, scalability, reliability, security, and quality.
- Establish and improve engineering processes, standards, and practices.
- Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional engineering talent.
- Balance near-term delivery with long-term infrastructure and architectural investments.
