Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of production experience in full-stack web development.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Deep experience with React and React Native.
- Proven track record of independently decomposing ambiguous problems and executing technical strategies.
- Experience authoring technical specifications and RFCs for cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience building and maintaining GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Experience scaling relational databases like PostgreSQL and optimizing queries.
- Strong communication skills for driving alignment with stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring engineers and working with distributed teams.
- Ability to lead and architect large-scale technical projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack product features with a backend-heavy focus.
- Build and maintain GraphQL APIs using Python frameworks like Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
- Implement web and mobile interfaces using React, React Native, and TypeScript.
- Design efficient, reusable systems to support scalable web and mobile applications.
- Maintain HIPAA and GDPR compliance through secure coding practices.
- Author technical plans and RFCs for large, cross-domain initiatives.
- Lead project execution, collaborating with product, design, and engineering partners.
- Mentor engineers and provide high-quality code reviews.
- Participate in on-call rotations to manage system stability and remediation.
