Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.
- 5+ years of experience leading infrastructure teams of 5-15 engineers.
- Deep experience with AWS services including EKS, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure automation using Terraform.
- Proven experience migrating applications to Kubernetes/EKS and container-based architectures.
- Strong background in security practices and compliance frameworks such as PCI, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Experience transforming CI/CD pipelines and implementing GitOps practices.
- Expertise with monitoring and observability tools including DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Proven ability to collaborate across Product, Data, and Platform Engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute long-term infrastructure and security strategy for scalability and reliability.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of infrastructure and reliability engineers.
- Partner with Product and Data Engineering teams to build a robust, self-service infrastructure foundation.
- Architect and implement modern practices including containerization, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish comprehensive observability, incident response, and disaster recovery systems.
- Manage security frameworks and compliance (PCI, HIPAA, SOC 2).
