Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA designation preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including time in a Controller or Assistant Controller capacity.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience.
- Public accounting foundation (Big 4 or national firm) preferred.
- Deep US GAAP knowledge (revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, business combinations).
- Experience owning a multi-entity monthly close and consolidation process.
- Track record of leading external audits and strengthening internal controls.
- Highly proficient with NetSuite.
- Experience with a modern tech stack (e.g., Ramp, Carta).
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly close process, including multi-entity consolidation in NetSuite.
- Manage a team of 10 across Accounting, Billing, Financial Operations, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.
- Oversee financial reporting, including flux analysis and financial statements.
- Lead annual financial statement audits and manage internal control environments.
- Direct the quote-to-cash process, including billing configuration and revenue recognition.
- Coordinate tax compliance programs, including sales and use tax, and income tax provisions.
- Manage banking relationships and corporate insurance for US and Canadian entities.
