Requirements
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in IT support, systems administration, or combined IT/security operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting compliance evidence collection (NIST 800-171, CMMC, or SOC 2).
- Proficiency in macOS endpoint management via MDM.
- Experience administering cloud IdPs (JumpCloud, Okta, or Entra ID) and Google Workspace.
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance.
- Strong communication and discretion handling sensitive company data.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs to unpack and setup workstation hardware.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1-2 helpdesk support for hardware, SaaS applications, and network connectivity.
- Provision, patch, and maintain macOS and Windows endpoints using MDM and encryption standards.
- Administer identity and access across JumpCloud, Google Workspace, AWS, and Azure using least-privilege principles.
- Execute technical onboarding and offboarding, including hardware delivery and asset management.
- Monitor EDR agents and coordinate with external security teams on incident triage.
- Manage IT logistics including SSL/TLS certificates and email security records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Automate administrative tasks through Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripts.
- Collect operational audit logs for NIST 800-171 and CMMC compliance.
