Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a global 24/7 Security Operations Center.
- 2+ years of experience in a team lead or managerial role within a SOC, MSSP, MDR, or Incident Response service.
- Deep technical expertise in Windows forensics.
- Experience creating detailed process diagrams and standard operating procedures.
- Demonstrated success in leading projects involving delegation and accountability.
- Effective communication skills for relaying technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in data science concepts.
- Active engagement in the information security community (e.g., conferences, public domain contributions).
- Continual learner regarding threat actor tradecraft and detection techniques.
Responsibilities
- Design and enforce internal processes to improve SOC productivity and reduce burnout.
- Manage global shift coverage to maintain 24/7, 365-day operations.
- Conduct weekly 1:1s with analysts to provide coaching, gather feedback, and support career growth.
- Develop and implement training programs covering digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, and threat hunting.
- Partner with product organizations to prioritize new capabilities that enhance analyst efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and quality assurance for the designated region.
- Collaborate with internal teams like Tactical Response, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering to mature processes.
- Report on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) linked to SOC initiatives.
