Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in financial operations, treasury, accounting, controllership, or investment banking.
  • 2-3 years of specific digital assets industry experience.
  • Strong accounting foundation with comprehensive command of financial statements.
  • Proven experience owning financial operations for digital assets including custody, wallets, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Working knowledge of digital asset accounting under U.S. GAAP, including fair value measurement.
  • Track record of designing and operating control environments, including SOX controls.
  • Strong ability to build scalable processes and automation for operational workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with lending, fintech, blockchain, stablecoins, or tokenized assets.
  • Experience working in a public company environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily digital asset financial operations including wallet and custody administration, transaction execution, and settlement.
  • Perform end-to-end reconciliation of digital asset activity from on-chain data to sub-ledger and general ledger systems.
  • Define operational, accounting, and control requirements for new product and token launches.
  • Collaborate with Accounting on accurate monthly closes, fair value measurement, and financial statement disclosures.
  • Design and operate a robust control framework, including SOX controls and approval thresholds.
  • Serve as the primary finance liaison for custodians, exchanges, and financial counterparties.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product to build scalable, automated systems for financial reporting and reconciliation.
  • Produce recurring reports on asset positions and exposures for senior management, the board, and auditors.
