Requirements
- BA or BS degree (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales, including field sales management and product launch experience.
- Expertise in customer-facing organization sales strategy and optimization.
- Strong leadership, team building, and coaching skills.
- Proficiency in analyzing syndicated sales data, patient-level data, and payer-level data.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory/legal environment and PhRMA Code compliance.
- Knowledge of CRM call reporting and dashboard systems.
- Extensive proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook).
- Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time, including overnight stays.
- Strong communication and influence skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct management, coaching, and leadership to a District of Therapeutic Sales Specialist (sales representatives).
- Develop and implement business plans for assigned districts.
- Execute overall strategy and direction for the Specialty Franchise.
- Build and develop a high-performing and diverse team.
- Drive creative ideation and execution regarding customer engagements via virtual and face-to-face selling.
- Execute objective analysis to support customer relationship management (CRM) via the Azurity Commercial Excellence (ACE) platform.
- Partner in the execution of training to ensure product knowledge and selling skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Marketing, Market Access, and Regulatory.
