Requirements
- Proven experience leading technical program initiatives in product, engineering, data, or security environments.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex programs from inception through scaled adoption.
- Demonstrated ability to define strategy and create clarity within extreme ambiguity.
- Strong background in SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps technology companies.
- Proven experience influencing and driving impact at a division and company-wide scale.
- Excellence in cross-functional leadership, partnering with engineering, product, and security teams.
- Experience engaging effectively with senior and C-level stakeholders.
- Outstanding communication skills, including asynchronous collaboration and executive reporting.
- Strong facilitation and influence skills to drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proven track record of redefining organizational operations and serving as an escalation point for enterprise-level challenges.
- Proven experience leading complex reliability programs across multiple engineering organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical programs across product, engineering, data, and security, from initial scope through launch and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with executive leaders and senior stakeholders to translate strategic vision into actionable roadmaps and align on priorities and tradeoffs.
- Coordinate distributed teams across time zones using strong asynchronous communication, providing structure, clarity, and consistent status updates.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and dependencies while facilitating decisions that balance speed, quality, and customer impact.
- Partner with customer success and cross-functional teams to refine communication plans and operational workflows.
- Champion GitLab's values and culture within programs, fostering collaborative excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.
