Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in the telecommunications or technology industry.
- Deep knowledge of supplier ecosystems and indirect channel dynamics.
- Extensive understanding of channel partnerships, go-to-market models, and technology market development.
- Proven experience leading high-value contract negotiations and structuring complex strategic partnerships.
- Exceptional executive presence and relationship-building skills.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate market intelligence into actionable plans.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and deal-structuring skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify whitespace and convert insights into growth initiatives.
- Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Comfortable with frequent travel and extensive in-person engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the overall supplier strategy, including portfolio expansion, supplier sourcing, segmentation, tiering, and investment prioritization.
- Build and strengthen senior-level relationships with suppliers, TSDs, channel partners, and technology providers through frequent field engagement.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and executive-level meetings to identify new opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new go-to-market opportunities, including co-marketing initiatives, joint solutions, and strategic partnerships.
- Identify whitespace across supplier categories and emerging technology markets to expand the portfolio.
- Build relationships with supplier executives to secure strategic investments, priority access, and preferred commercial terms.
- Lead high-value contract negotiations and strategic partnership agreements.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product leadership to align supplier initiatives with revenue growth priorities.
