Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, energy, policy, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years of total work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supervision and leadership of multigenerational teams.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in program implementation and growth, ideally in demand response or storage.
- Familiarity with the North American solar market, particularly in Illinois or income-qualified offerings.
- Experience managing implementation or product teams to achieve client outcomes.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and bridging the gap between client needs and technical constraints.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and cost management.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Proven track record in contract negotiations and renewals.
- Ability to travel to Chicago at least once per quarter.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the successful delivery of a large solar program market outreach team to meet goals and budget.
- Manage workload distribution, recruitment, and professional development of a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop coordination with information systems teams to maintain custom program software.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure service excellence and resolve issues.
- Lead business development initiatives, including proposal strategy and execution.
- Collaborate with leadership to align departmental goals with organizational strategy.
- Monitor program metrics and budgets to proactively address risks.
