Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technology, software engineering, or related fields, with substantial leadership responsibility.
- Progressive experience in technology leadership, software architecture, engineering management, or technology management.
- Demonstrated success architecting and scaling enterprise-grade SaaS or commercial software platforms.
- Strong technical understanding of AI/ML, with exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, or AI platforms.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and establishing scalable, high-quality software development practices.
- Ability to remain technically engaged in architecture reviews, system design, and significant engineering decisions while operating at a strategic level.
- Strong experience partnering with executive leadership and presenting technology strategy to senior stakeholders.
- Commercial understanding of how technology influences revenue generation, customer acquisition, product strategy, cybersecurity, and operational efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and executive presence.
- Experience developing multiple commercial software products from concept through market delivery is preferred.
- Strong experience within the Java ecosystem is preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise software sales, customer acquisition, or technical client engagements is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technology strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives, product priorities, scalability, cybersecurity, and operational excellence.
- Act as a trusted technology advisor to executive leadership, providing guidance on technology investments.
- Architect, build, and scale enterprise-grade SaaS platforms using cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and data platforms.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and strategic engineering decisions while maintaining high standards for security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI.
- Oversee the development and evolution of commercial software products from concept through market delivery.
- Lead and develop a globally distributed technology organization of approximately 10–15 professionals.
- Partner with product, business, CEO, and CFO stakeholders to align technology strategy with commercial objectives.
- Support enterprise software sales through technical expertise, customer presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Participate in fundraising activities, including investor presentations, technology due diligence, and IPO readiness initiatives.
