Requirements
- 8–12 years of progressive project management experience, including responsibility for managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading medium-to-large, cross-functional projects within complex or matrixed organizational environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate alignment, and drive decisions across business and technical teams.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities, with a proactive approach to identifying risks and resolving project challenges.
- Experience working within a PMO or enterprise portfolio management environment (preferred).
- PMP certification (preferred).
- Experience with project portfolio and work management platforms such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, or Jira (asset).
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects with varying levels of size, complexity, and strategic importance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, governance structures, and deliverables.
- Define project scope, objectives, success measures, and delivery frameworks in alignment with organizational priorities.
- Drive execution to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and according to agreed quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, providing guidance and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead project meetings, steering committees, workshops, stakeholder reviews, and other governance forums.
- Prepare clear project updates, executive summaries, dashboards, presentations, and portfolio reports for leadership and stakeholders.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, track issues, and escalate critical matters when appropriate.
- Monitor project performance through KPIs, milestones, budgets, benefits, and success metrics.
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve PMO processes, tools, reporting, and overall project delivery capabilities.
