Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or 4 years of related experience substituted in lieu of degree.
- At least 10 years’ experience in technical product management or product marketing/sales.
- At least 7 years’ experience in managing CI/CD products.
- Expert experience in analyzing business requirements and translating them into actionable units of work.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Project and program leadership experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively at senior executive levels of the Department of the Air Force.
- Ability to lead and influence a balanced cross-functional team.
- Experience managing cloud software development and API technologies (preferred).
- Certified Scrum Product Owner certification (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Establish a product’s vision, strategy, outcome-driven roadmap, and product backlog.
- Communicate the vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog to different audiences with a tailored message.
- Define and track product metrics in order to demonstrate success and inform product decisions.
- Work with other teams within a well-defined portfolio to deliver cross-product value.
- Generate assumptions, design experiments, and collect data to de-risk product decisions.
- Write user stories and manage a continuously updated backlog.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable units of work for the development team.
