Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in fund management, private equity, real estate investment, or community development finance.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and complex reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of real estate investment structures, including waterfall calculations, capital allocations, and fee structures.
- Experience managing fund-level financial reporting, capital accounts, and investor reporting processes.
- Ability to interpret financial performance within the context of fund strategy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with fund accounting or financial reporting systems.
- CFA, MBA, or MPA preferred.
- Experience with affordable housing (LIHTC, HTC, or NMTC) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve quarterly and annual financial statements, investor reports, and performance analysis.
- Analyze fund-level performance including income statements, balance sheets, and portfolio returns.
- Manage capital call and distribution processes, including reconciliation of construction draws.
- Oversee fund-level expenses, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Support investor meetings, prepare analysis, and respond to fund-specific inquiries.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and asset management teams to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Supervise and mentor a Financial Analyst.
