Requirements
- 3 – 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory/materials management.
- Expertise in inventory planning, demand forecasting, master scheduling, and materials management.
- Proficiency with supply chain planning systems such as ERP or WMS platforms.
- Advanced skills in Excel or other data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional activities and influence stakeholders.
- Experience leading projects, planning, prioritizing, and managing competing deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data to various audiences.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP preferred.
- Experience with forecasting or inventory optimization software preferred.
- Prior experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior team members preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and administer comprehensive inventory planning, master scheduling, materials handling, and inventory turnover processes across multiple distribution facilities.
- Coordinate and oversee supply and demand activities for products across multiple business units to optimize inventory levels and customer service.
- Analyze complex data sets to develop forecasting models, stocking strategies, and inventory policies that reduce carrying costs.
- Recommend and lead the implementation of process and systems improvements to enhance network operational efficiency.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication for small-to-mid-sized initiatives.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced logistics and inventory analysts.
- Monitor key performance indicators and report insights to management to ensure alignment with company goals.
