Requirements
- 10+ years in cloud and infrastructure engineering.
- 5+ years of deep, hands-on AWS experience at enterprise scale.
- Proven ownership of an AWS Organization, including account hierarchy and multi-account governance.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in major enterprise cloud initiatives.
- Expertise in Compute/Containers: EKS, ECS, Fargate, EC2.
- Expertise in Networking: VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Direct Connect.
- Expertise in IaC/Automation: Terraform, AWS CodePipeline, AWS Config.
- Expertise in Security: IAM, IRSA, Secrets Manager, AWS Security Hub.
- Proficiency in Python and Go.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise AWS platform end-to-end, including Organizations structure, account hierarchy, and AWS Landing Zone.
- Serve as the final technical authority on AWS architecture decisions, reviewing designs for scalability, security, and operational excellence.
- Lead the AWS cloud engineering team, setting direction, conducting design reviews, and mentoring engineers.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards for IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices.
- Design and own the Terraform framework for AWS resource provisioning.
- Architect and operate AWS networking, security, and compliance controls across regulatory frameworks like HIPAA and PCI.
- Drive continuous automated compliance and integrate observability across all workloads.
