Requirements
- At least 5-7 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising.
- At least 5 years of development writing experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships and multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with constituent databases (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Mission CRM, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable training/experience.
- Ability to work remotely, independently, and in a team environment.
- Must be able to travel nationally up to 15%, including overnight trips.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across teams to develop compelling proposals, reports, and other donor communications collateral.
- Build relationships with program teams to translate programmatic priorities into donor-facing narratives.
- Develop donor-targeted program narratives that combine storytelling with data-driven impact metrics.
- Coordinate the creation of portfolio-wide communications such as appeal letters and event invitations.
- Develop annual program briefs to support personalized solicitation strategies for major gifts officers.
- Manage donor proposal and report calendars, including drafting, designing, and repurposing materials.
- Provide project management for communications, including liaison with mail houses and vendors.
- Ensure accurate data management and coding for constituent communication streams.
