Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience with Elixir and Phoenix, including LiveView.
- Experience in AI engineering techniques and tools.
- Strong full-stack ability, including experience with APIs and backend systems.
- Experience with Python and modern data engineering techniques.
- Proven experience building and operating production systems used by real customers.
- Strong database experience, especially with PostgreSQL or similar relational systems.
- Comfort with cloud infrastructure, monitoring, security, and production support.
- Meaningful experience in heavily compliant healthcare technology (e.g., HIPAA-regulated software, patient applications, clinician workflows, EMR/EHR integrations).
- Ability to operate at Principal Engineer scope while remaining hands-on.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day technical execution and write production code for the Protera platform.
- Build and maintain patient onboarding, portal workflows, and care coordination systems.
- Develop internal tools for enrollment, call centers, and operational leverage.
- Design and manage data pipelines, reporting infrastructure, and partner-facing analytics.
- Integrate the platform with EMRs, CRM systems, healthcare vendors, and other analytics tools.
- Implement AI-assisted internal tools to improve speed, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure platform reliability, security, observability, performance, and maintainability.
