Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis and/or analytical programming.
- At least 3 years of experience working with HEDIS or comparable healthcare quality performance metrics.
- Approximately 3–5 years of programming experience using SQL and SAS.
- Proficiency in at least two of SQL, SAS, and/or DAX.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical skills.
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong data visualization capabilities.
- Familiarity with managed care organizations, healthcare coding, and data structures.
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics is preferred.
- Experience with DAX and Power BI is preferred.
- Healthcare delivery, clinical, or managed care experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex healthcare and quality data to identify trends, patterns, and performance opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations for business and management stakeholders.
- Produce management-level summaries that translate technical findings into actionable insights.
- Provide technical expertise on SQL, SAS, DAX, data visualization, and coding practices.
- Partner with business teams to deliver solutions related to HEDIS, population health, pharmacy quality, accreditation, and health equity.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve data collection, reporting systems, and analytical capabilities.
- Apply statistical concepts to solve multidimensional healthcare questions.
