Requirements
- 10+ years of professional QA and software testing experience.
- 10+ years of experience with QA and system testing methodologies and best practices.
- 8+ years of experience with data confidentiality, client privacy, and application security.
- Advanced SQL experience in a QA environment.
- Proven performance testing skills using JMeter or similar tools.
- Proven automation testing skills using SOAPUI or similar tools.
- Experience with HP Quality Center, HP WebInspect, or similar enterprise QA tools.
- Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect reporting, and resolution tracking.
- Knowledge of Waterfall, Water Scrum, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with database upgrades and comparison tools like SQL Data Examiner.
- Experience with Provincial Healthcare and Electronic Health Records (EHR) applications.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within collaborative project teams.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and support quality assurance activities for healthcare IT projects.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive manual and automated test cases.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, connectivity, performance, and automation testing.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Review project requirements and conduct gap analysis to identify testing needs.
- Track and document defects, preparing detailed testing and defect reports.
- Validate databases using SQL and perform application security checks.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop user documentation and support training/knowledge transfer for QA team members.
