Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure, software architecture, or cybersecurity leadership.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing IoT, connected-product, or industrial technology solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in Azure IoT Hub, Device Provisioning Service, and IoT Edge.
- Knowledge of industrial protocols including MQTT, AMQP, HTTPS, and OPC UA.
- Proficiency in device identity, X.509, PKI, secure provisioning, and cryptography.
- Experience with EU Cyber Resilience Act, threat modeling, and SBOM management.
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking, Entra ID, governance, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform).
- Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable technical controls.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead secure, end-to-end IoT architectures spanning connected products, edge systems, gateways, and Azure platforms.
- Architect Azure IoT solutions using services such as IoT Hub, Device Provisioning Service, IoT Edge, and Event Hubs.
- Guide integration with industrial networks using protocols like MQTT, AMQP, and OPC UA.
- Embed security-by-design and Zero Trust principles, including device identity, X.509 certificates, and secure updates.
- Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability management for connected products.
- Define Azure-native security controls using Entra ID, Key Vault, and Defender for IoT.
- Lead compliance readiness efforts for cybersecurity regulations and standards.
- Establish CI/CD and DevSecOps controls for cloud and edge infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor technical teams on secure engineering practices.
