Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience in operations, incident response, or detection engineering.
- Hands-on experience securing on-premises and AWS environments with STIG/NIST architectures.
- Proficiency in Python for security automation and analytics.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML architectures and associated security risks.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, cloud security, and vulnerability management.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
- Familiarity with Terraform and GitLab CI/CD (preferred).
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or MLflow (preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across system development and operational environments.
- Secure AWS cloud environments using STIG- and NIST-aligned architectures and least-privilege IAM.
- Perform system hardening, vulnerability scanning, security monitoring, and incident response using platforms like Splunk or Security Onion.
- Develop detection rules and support forensic investigations and threat-hunting activities.
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate security requirements throughout AI/ML and cybersecurity product development lifecycles.
- Conduct security reviews of AI/ML models, pipelines, and training data.
- Support compliance initiatives aligned with CMMC Level 2, SOC 2, and ISO/IEC 27001.
