Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Life Sciences or Medicine.
  • Minimum eight years of total experience.
  • Minimum six years of relevant business development experience in M&A, licensing, divestitures, or joint ventures.
  • Proven experience in corporate, investment banking, or consulting environments.
  • Proven experience supporting or leading transaction processes including market analysis, target identification, valuation, due diligence, and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the medtech industry.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influence skills.
  • Aptitude for managing multiple projects and complex situations.
  • Team leadership and facilitation skills in a matrix organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of Business Development transactions including M&A, divestitures, equity investments, partnerships, and licensing.
  • Independently lead transaction processes including strategy analysis, target identification, screening, structuring, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
  • Lead strategy and transaction conversations with business and functional leadership.
  • Support prioritization of global market segment requirements and perform gap analysis to business unit portfolio.
  • Manage communication and alignment with key internal stakeholders to support effective decision-making.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
