Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, channel/reseller, or POS integration roles.
- Proven track record in the restaurant tech ecosystem preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to source and close partnerships that drive measurable revenue and customer acquisition.
- Strong proficiency in commercial deal structuring, financial modeling, and contract negotiation.
- Working-level understanding of APIs and the ability to discuss technical requirements with product and engineering teams.
- Proven ability to build relationships across internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
- Ability to travel periodically to industry conferences, partner locations, and company HQ.
Responsibilities
- Own ChowNow's business development function, including the partner evaluation framework and the partner journey from first conversation to market launch.
- Identify and prioritize new partnership opportunities based on their potential to drive new revenue, new restaurant acquisition, and market expansion.
- Align new partner strategy to company vision, revenue goals, and the product roadmap.
- Execute a structured business development process, from sourcing and qualification through commercial deal structure, negotiation, and in-market execution.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with key partners across the restaurant tech ecosystem, including technology integrations, referral, and channel partners.
- Evaluate potential entry into new markets and adjacent verticals using a build, buy, or partner approach.
