Requirements
- 7+ years experience in a Talent function, with a deep appreciation of recruitment and selection and analytics.
- Exceptional academic track record with an undergraduate degree in a people based subject.
- Proven analytical ability to dissect and analyse data using SQL, or alternative experience with Python, R, or SPSS.
- Appetite to learn SQL if not currently proficient.
- Exposure to BI tools, specifically Superset.
- Exemplary ability to lead and drive others to deliver, including project management and coaching.
- Exceptional written and spoken English with strong presentation skills for a senior audience.
- Sincere personal motivation aligned with the company mission.
- Ability to undertake international travel 2-4 times a year for up to two weeks.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team to deliver against a set of strategic objectives, with focus on product design and implementation of our roadmap.
- Crack the code on hiring, connecting performance outcomes back to selection methods to ensure we identify and progress exceptional talent.
- Design professional processes and frameworks, allowing efficient delivery of our agenda.
- Coach and mentor team members to grow and develop skill sets specifically around analytical capabilities and thought leadership.
- Develop training materials and documentation to support team members.
- Drive and represent the team in the absence of the Head of, acting as a credible and trusted adviser and an inspiring leader.
- Work closely with company leaders to understand, appreciate and communicate our vision for talent at Canonical.
