- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously from initiation through completion, with ownership of scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, and risk.
- Experience collaborating directly with software engineers, engineering managers, SREs, and other technical stakeholders to deliver outcomes aligned with a defined strategy.
- Strong critical-path and dependency management skills, including the ability to create complex delivery plans and proactively mitigate risks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical and program information clearly to audiences ranging from engineering teams to executive leadership.
- Strong technical intuition and the ability to understand engineering challenges well enough to facilitate effective decisions and coordination.
- Experience with cloud platform, SaaS, cost-optimization, or operational-efficiency initiatives is an advantage.
- Familiarity with security and governance programs such as IAM, certification, logging, access elevation, and compliance frameworks such as SOX is a plus.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, provisioning, landing-zone initiatives, or cloud governance is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of concurrent AWS cloud infrastructure programs, managing scope, schedules, dependencies, budgets, and critical paths across engineering and partner teams.
- Coordinate cloud cost-optimization initiatives, tracking progress, reporting results, identifying risks, and proactively addressing obstacles to savings targets.
- Lead intake and prioritization processes, maintaining accurate roadmaps, priority documentation, dashboards, and program status information.
- Act as the central coordination point across technical and business teams, facilitating alignment, trade-off discussions, negotiations, and resolution of roadblocks.
- Partner closely with software engineers, engineering managers, and SREs to align execution with strategic objectives and support planning activities.
- Drive security and governance initiatives end-to-end, ensuring dependencies are managed and delivery remains on track.
- Develop reports, scorecards, and executive-ready dashboards that provide clear visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
- Build strong relationships across functional boundaries while promoting pragmatic problem-solving, accountability, and effective collaboration.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve program management processes and enable business innovation.
