Requirements
- 2+ years as a Billing Specialist, AR Analyst, or similar role.
- Hands-on Stripe experience (dashboard, subscriptions, API tools).
- Familiarity with financial regulations and GAAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (Workday a plus).
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Clear communicator with strong customer service instincts.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate or optimize workflows.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation.
- Bonus: SaaS or e-commerce experience.
- Bonus: Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end billing process, auditing invoicing and credit memo runs for accuracy.
- Manage subscription billing in Stripe, including recurring payments, plans, discounts, and tax configurations.
- Reconcile transactions and payment records, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Handle Stripe issues like chargebacks, refunds, and failed payments, and partner with Engineering or Product on integrations.
- Own AR tasks like keeping the aging report clean and applying credit memos accurately.
- Update customer accounts for plan changes and keep customer data clean.
- Respond to billing questions promptly and partner with Customer Success on a great customer experience.
- Build billing and payment reports, spot process improvements, and use AI tools to automate review, reconciliation, and reporting.
