Requirements
- 10+ years of PR or strategic communications experience, with significant agency leadership experience.
- Deep expertise in the Business of Health ecosystem, including managed care, health plans, care delivery, and hospitals.
- Proven success owning and scaling integrated communications programs for high-growth healthcare organizations.
- Strong command of healthcare business, trade, policy, and consumer media landscapes.
- Understanding of healthcare regulatory and policy environments, including Medicare and Medicaid.
- Exceptional strategic writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities.
- Experience providing executive-level counsel and managing C-suite or board-level stakeholders.
- Track record of building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Strong business acumen including financial forecasting, resourcing, and revenue growth.
- Experience winning new business in a competitive agency environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as lead for a portfolio of key Business of Health accounts, setting strategic direction and ensuring best-in-class delivery.
- Define and oversee integrated communications strategies that build brand authority and trust.
- Provide executive-level counsel on messaging, positioning, reputation management, and crisis response.
- Guide teams in translating complex healthcare business, operational, and policy topics into compelling narratives.
- Own senior client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and account expansion.
- Oversee financial performance for assigned accounts, including budgets, forecasting, and staffing models.
- Mentor and develop account teams, supporting recruitment, coaching, and professional growth.
- Lead new business development efforts, including pitch strategy and proposal development.
