Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Sustained history of owning a complex codebase.
- Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and coding fluency.
- Deep hands-on experience with C# and .NET, including ASP.NET web applications and backend service development.
- Working proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework.
- Strong relational database skills, including schema design and data modeling in SQL Server, Postgres, or comparable systems.
- Working knowledge of a major public cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Experience delivering at pace in an Agile team environment, including source control, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Ability to break down technical problems into discrete steps and guide teammates toward solutions.
- Collaborative mindset with a belief in communal ownership of work and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical standard bearer for the team, setting the quality bar through your own contributions and code reviews.
- Design, build, and own features end to end across a C#/.NET and SQL Server core, extending into React and Node (TypeScript) with Postgres.
- Break down large or ambiguous technical problems into approachable chunks for the team.
- Act as a technical resource across the team, unblocking teammates and keeping delivery moving.
- Collaborate multi-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and go-to-market partners.
- Find opportunities for optimization and efficiency across the systems, improving availability and performance.
- Participate fully as a member of a self-managing Scrum team, committing to delivery and sharing in production support.
