Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting a founder, CFO, or senior executive.
- Experience in a startup, executive services, or consulting environment.
- Demonstrated ability to own a principal’s calendar as a strategic function.
- Comfort operating with autonomy and delegated decision-making authority.
- Track record of driving projects to completion, not just task execution.
- Confidence communicating with boards, investors, CEOs, and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, judgment, and discretion.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple companies.
- Willingness to provide both professional and personal/household support.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and ability to learn new tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Serve as sole owner and gatekeeper of the Principal’s calendar across all engagements, proactively defending focus time.
- Make real-time judgment calls about time allocation and renegotiate conflicts autonomously.
- Hold the Principal accountable to deadlines, flag risks early, and provide follow-up.
- Own discrete projects from research and drafting through to final delivery.
- Draft client communications, board materials, and internal follow-ups.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings with boards, investors, and executives.
- Manage professional and personal travel, expenses, and household logistics.
- Maintain airtight organization and confidentiality across multiple company engagements.
