Requirements
- Hands-on security operations experience.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of detection logic.
- Experience with log pipelines.
- Working knowledge of modern telemetry sources: EDR, identity, cloud, network, and SaaS.
- Ability to take an ambiguous problem, define what done looks like, and build it.
- Clear written communication skills (incident timelines, design notes, postmortems).
- GCP and/or AWS experience preferred.
- Experience with low-code automation platforms like Tines or n8n preferred.
- Experience with agent programming, prompt engineering, or AI-enriched detection/triage pipelines preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own incidents end to end: scoping, containment, forensics, write-up, and remediation follow-through.
- Write, tune, test, and retire detections.
- Build playbooks, integrations, and workflows for IR automation.
- Track relevant threat intelligence and convert it into detections, hunts, and hardening work.
- Contribute to hypothesis-led threat hunting initiatives.
- Build and improve the agents, prompts, and enrichment logic behind the triage pipeline.
