Requirements
- Four-year degree in engineering, construction management or construction-related course of study from an accredited school or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or related experience in the electrical contractor or comparable industry.
- Minimum of five years’ Project Management experience in Electrical Construction Projects related to Energy Infrastructure and Technology.
- Experience evaluating costs and scope of work requirements for electrical construction projects.
- Ability to manage multiple large projects.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to engage and work alongside team members to drive performance improvements.
- Strong presentation and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and decision making/problem solving skills.
- Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
- Eligibility to obtain and sustain DOD Secret level Security Clearance.
- Preferred: Certified project management professional (PMP).
- Preferred: Proficiency in associated project management tools to track schedule, budgets, and approvals.
- Preferred: Experience providing support to Federal Government clients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate teams of internal and external resources to manage and deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to required specifications.
- Participate in the development of project scope, cost estimates, schedules, designs, and delivery solutions.
- Coordinate pre-construction meetings.
- Provide accurate and timely project status reporting addressing milestone progress, risk management, current and forecast financial performance.
- Perform in person site visits to project site(s) as needed.
- Participate in project progress meetings with client, general contractor, subcontractors, vendors, and Business Unit Vice President.
- Ensure predictable and unexpected complexities are effectively monitored, mitigated and communicated timely to the Business Unit Vice President.
- Manage dependencies, risks, schedule, costs and resourcing for each project and across interlinked projects in coordination with Business Unit Vice President.
