Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Nursing, or Public Administration.
- Four years of leadership, management, or clinical care experience in a physician practice or specialty/multi-specialty group.
- Direct working knowledge of clinical practice day-to-day operations.
- Strong operational knowledge of Quality Payment Program and value-based models.
- Proficiency in MIPS, APM, and/or HEDIS reporting requirements.
- Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR), registries, and health information exchange (HIE).
- Understanding of medical billing and coding terminologies (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Implement clinical quality improvement (QI) activities with outpatient clinical practices for chronic disease and clinical care projects.
- Generate and analyze clinical quality reports from electronic health records (EHR) to identify and close care gaps.
- Provide process improvement interventions and workflow redesign to optimize practice day-to-day operations.
- Engage with ACOs, FQHCs, and independent provider offices to support QI project objectives.
- Educate providers on reengineering processes and documenting quality indicators.
- Research and develop resources to support interventions and address barriers to quality reporting.
- Document interventions and report writing using tools such as SharePoint.
