Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing engineers.
- Successfully hired 7+ engineers in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems.
- Experience shipping backend and full-stack features in SaaS environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product management and design teams.
- Experience with org design and shaping engineering culture.
- Strong technical leadership with expertise in architecture and best practices.
- Ability to drive execution and accelerate throughput in high-growth startups.
Responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, and develop high-performing individual contributors.
- Architect the engineering team for high ownership, velocity, and autonomy.
- Ship major customer-facing initiatives to expand enterprise footprint.
- Mentor engineering managers or technical leads and promote a culture of execution.
- Establish engineering standards for architecture, code quality, and release reliability.
- Partner cross-functionally with PM, Design, and Clinical SMEs for planning and delivery.
- Translate high-level business goals into actionable plans in uncertain environments.
