Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience writing T-SQL stored procedures.
- 5+ years of experience in Crystal Reports, SSRS, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
- 2+ years of experience in Star Schema modeling and methodology.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban development methodologies.
- Understanding of SSIS and ETL best practices.
- Working knowledge of online transactional processing (OLTP).
- Advanced knowledge of analytical processing (OLAP) databases, tabular models, and EDW models.
- Ability to provide own reliable, high-speed internet access.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements for reporting, dashboards, and enterprise data stores.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for implementation.
- Create and maintain data sources including SQL stored procedures, BI universes, cubes, and data extracts.
- Develop reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, SSRS, Crystal Reports, and MicroStrategy.
- Ensure availability and performance of reports for internal and external users.
- Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes.
- Perform testing and quality assurance on reports prior to production deployment.
- Mentor and coach team members on BI processes and technological development.
