Requirements
- Strong SQL and data modeling expertise with ability to translate complex requirements into practical data solutions.
- Professional experience working with healthcare data, particularly claims and/or clinical data.
- Familiarity with value-based care concepts.
- Proven customer- or partner-facing experience, including scoping work and presenting findings independently.
- Experience delivering analytical work in environments with evolving or partially defined requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Experience using AI-assisted development or analytical tools.
- For Lead-level: Independent leadership of analytical initiatives and mentoring of less experienced analysts.
- Experience with dbt-based analytics development (highly desirable).
- Experience with QuickSight or comparable BI platforms (plus).
- Experience with medical economics, risk algorithms, or episodes-of-care analytics (advantageous).
- Python experience for analysis and quality assurance (beneficial).
Responsibilities
- Translate ambiguous business and clinical questions into clear, actionable data plans, developing the underlying data models, code, and analytical assets.
- Develop and maintain analytical pipelines and reusable data assets using SQL, dbt, Foundry, and AWS.
- Serve as a lead strategist for productized capabilities such as risk, medical economics, or episodes-of-care analytics.
- Design and develop analytical or predictive models, collaborating with Data Science teams for training and validation.
- Build dashboards and reporting solutions using QuickSight or comparable BI platforms.
- Manage delivery schedules, project portfolios, risks, and dependencies across customer engagements.
- Develop client-facing materials including presentations and technical explanations tailored to diverse audiences.
- Delegate work, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to the development of broader team capabilities.
- Incorporate AI-assisted tools into everyday analytical workflows for development and quality assurance.
