Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience spanning Business Analysis and Quality Assurance.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, QA methodologies, and defect management.
  • Hands-on familiarity with testing tools and test automation concepts; Playwright experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to gather and translate complex business requirements into user stories and functional specifications.
  • Experience managing requirements and deliverables within strict project timelines and MVP constraints.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with accounting and financial concepts.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with Jira and Agile delivery practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed, and cross-functional environment.
  • Fluent English is required for all aspects of the role.
  • Experience supporting professional services organizations in sports, media, or entertainment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, document, and improve operational workflows.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira.
  • Maintain traceability between business objectives, requirements, and delivered functionality.
  • Translate business processes into functional test cases and execute manual testing.
  • Establish QA practices, collaborate on regression and performance testing, and implement automation using tools such as Playwright.
  • Log, prioritize, and track defects through resolution with developers and Product Owners.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solutions against business requirements.
  • Support beta testing, reproduction of issues, and post-release hypercare support.
