Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience testing SaaS or cloud-based applications.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or similar technologies.
- Strong experience with TypeScript and/or Go.
- Deep understanding of test architecture and scalable automation patterns including Page Object Model.
- Practical API testing experience using tools such as Postman.
- Demonstrated automation-first experience building reliable automated coverage.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and rapid release cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business and product requirements into risk-based test coverage.
- Experience using AI tools to improve testing workflows is highly valued.
- Familiarity with test management platforms such as Allure TestOps is desirable.
- Experience with MySQL is considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, maintain, and scale automated end-to-end test suites using Playwright and appropriate test design patterns.
- Adapt and extend existing automation frameworks to support major enterprise integration and platform initiatives.
- Build comprehensive automated coverage across UI and API layers, using tools such as Postman for API validation.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines so quality checks run continuously alongside development.
- Partner with architects, developers, product managers, and QA specialists throughout the SDLC to establish effective acceptance criteria.
- Define comprehensive test plans based on product and design specifications.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for major initiatives and client integrations.
- Review and execute manual test cases when required, incorporating relevant scenarios into automated regression suites.
- Promote scalable QA practices, documentation, workflows, and standards across teams.
